Viglacera Corporation – JSC (Viglacera, Stock Code: VGC) has recently submitted a document to the State Securities Commission (SSC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), disclosing administrative tax violations.
On November 28, 2025, Viglacera received Decision No. 1418/QĐ-DNL dated November 5, 2025, from the Large Enterprise Tax Department, regarding administrative penalties for tax violations as per the tax inspection report.
According to the decision, Viglacera inaccurately declared the tax calculation basis, resulting in underpaid taxes; and provided incorrect or incomplete information in tax filings, though this did not lead to underpayment.
The total administrative fine amounts to 120 million VND, including a penalty of over 114 million VND for incorrect declarations leading to underpaid taxes (20% of the underpaid amount), and a 6.5 million VND fine for incorrect declarations not resulting in underpayment, under item 4254.
Additionally, Viglacera is required to pay over 570 million VND in underpaid taxes to the State Budget, along with nearly 41 million VND in late payment penalties.
The late payment penalties are calculated up to October 22, 2025. Viglacera is responsible for calculating and paying additional late fees from October 23, 2025, until the actual payment of the tax arrears and penalties to the State Budget.
The total amount due, including tax arrears, administrative fines, and late payment penalties, exceeds 731 million VND.
In a separate development, to streamline operations, Viglacera’s Board of Directors issued Resolution No. 343/TCT-HĐQT on November 28, 2025, to cease operations of four branches: Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Da Nang Branch, Project Management Board for Viglacera My Xuan Ceramic Factory, and the Hanoi Branch of the Glass and Construction Ceramics Corporation.
Earlier, on November 11, 2025, the Board of Directors issued Resolution No. 321/TCT-HĐQT to close three business locations: Project Management Board for Phu Ha Industrial Zone, Project Management Board for Dong Van IV Industrial Zone, and Project Management Board for Tien Hai Industrial Zone.
