Dien Bien Province’s leading private enterprise, owned by Mr. Le Thanh Than, has recently updated its business registration details. Notably, the number of business sectors has decreased from 98 to 97, primarily due to industry code updates, mergers, or separations.

Of particular interest, the previous business scope included sauna, massage, and similar health-enhancing services (excluding sports activities) under industry code 9610.

In the updated details, industry code 9610 now refers to laundry and cleaning of textile and fur products. The former similar service has been reclassified under industry code 9623 as spa and steam bath services, with massage services no longer listed.

Mr. Le Thanh Than is widely recognized as the Chairman of Muong Thanh Group. His recent public appearance was in August during a meeting regarding the progress of urban development projects in Tam Hung Commune, Hanoi. During the meeting, local authorities urged Muong Thanh Group to expedite project timelines, particularly for the My Hung Urban Area, which began in 2008 but has faced delays.

When discussing the “cigarette tycoon,” it’s impossible to overlook the HH Linh Dam Complex in the former Hoang Mai District, Hanoi.

The HH Linh Dam Complex comprises 12 towers, ranging from 36 to 41 floors (approximately 20 units per floor), built on Linh Dam Peninsula. The project is developed by Dien Bien Private Construction Company No. 1, part of Muong Thanh Group.

In 2015, the complex gained significant attention by offering thousands of apartments priced between 13.5–15.5 million VND/m². Nearly a decade later, the value of these units has seen substantial appreciation.

This residential complex has recently drawn attention for announcing a temporary halt to new electric motorcycle and bicycle storage from December 1, 2025, with a complete cessation of electric vehicle storage services from February 1, 2026, in the building basements.

Subsequently, the People’s Committee of Hoang Liet Ward (Hanoi) issued a document to Dien Bien Private Enterprise No. 1 and Linh Dam Housing Service Branch regarding electric vehicle storage at the HH Linh Dam Complex. The committee urged the enterprise not to refuse electric vehicle storage services.
