The project received its investment certificate in July 2023, located in Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, with a total registered capital of $90 million. Construction began in November 2023, focusing on semiconductor device assembly and production.
The facility commenced operations in Q1 2025, entering its first trial production phase. Phase 2 is slated to begin in 2026, with trial operations expected in Q4 2027.
In 2025, the plant achieved exports exceeding $27 million, targeting markets in Europe, the Americas, Japan, South Korea, and China. Key global clients include Tesla, Hyundai, Toyota, GM, Samsung, Philips, LG, and JA Solar.

During a meeting with Bac Ninh provincial leaders, Mr. Chen Rui Sheng, CEO of Yangjie Group, announced plans for a new project in Bac Ninh, focusing on GPP wafer production to supply MCC’s Vietnam plant and the global semiconductor market, with an annual capacity of 2,400,000 wafers.
The additional investment is projected between $30–40 million, marking a significant step in completing the group’s semiconductor supply chain in Vietnam.
Mr. Chen Rui Sheng requested Bac Ninh’s guidance on provincial chemical management, auxiliary construction procedures, stable power supply, and expedited approvals for fire safety and environmental compliance.
In response, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee assured full support for MCC Vietnam’s sustainable operations. For specialized chemicals under provincial jurisdiction, immediate action will be taken, while central government approvals will be expedited.
