At the Roadshow event on the afternoon of December 4th, Masan Consumer (MCH) leadership revealed a notable indicator of senior personnel stability: MCH boasts a top-tier leadership team with an average tenure of over 15 years. This cohesion among key personnel has fostered consistency in long-term strategy planning and execution.

Departing from traditional management models, Masan Group Chairman Nguyen Dang Quang defines corporate culture with the term “Entrepreneurial Spirit.” At MCH, the mindset of “working for a salary” is replaced by “ownership” among every employee.

This management philosophy encourages employees to take risks, embrace challenges, and take full responsibility for outcomes. CFO Huynh Viet Thang emphasizes that every expense is treated as an investment requiring efficiency, enabling the company to maintain a net profit margin above 20% despite market fluctuations.

Ms. Le Thi Nga (Deputy General Director of R&D) has 29 years of experience at Masan Group and 23 years with Masan Consumer.

Ms. Le Thi Nga, Deputy General Director of R&D, highlights the company’s elite team of 150 professionals, including many PhDs and Masters from prestigious technical universities in South Korea, France, Germany, Russia, and Australia. Beyond internal expertise, MCH collaborates with over 50 international experts to ensure global quality standards. The fusion of global knowledge and deep local market understanding is key to MCH’s 20% new product success rate—four times the FMCG industry average in the region.

Amid the digital transformation wave, MCH’s personnel management model is evolving to align with the Consumer-Tech era. The Retail Supreme project goes beyond process digitization, enhancing the role of the salesforce. This initiative underscores Masan’s vision of optimizing and developing human resources rather than viewing them as costs to cut.
