The news of Zannier Bai San Ho, a luxury resort in Dak Lak (formerly Phu Yen), being forced to suspend operations long-term has left many travelers and netizens deeply saddened. The closure is attributed to the severe impact of Typhoon Kalmaegi and prolonged flooding in Central Vietnam.
Official announcement from Zannier Bai San Ho
According to the operator, the resort is undergoing comprehensive repairs and upgrades to address the damage caused by the natural disasters. Zannier Bai San Ho is expected to remain closed until the end of March 2026 to ensure the safety and premium experience of its guests upon reopening. The official website has updated booking availability starting from April 2026, indicating a well-prepared reopening plan.
Nestled on a private peninsula, Zannier Bai San Ho offers a serene and pristine environment in the coastal region of South Central Vietnam. The resort boasts a unique biodiversity, proximity to the famous Ganh Da Dia rock formation, and nearby traditional fishing villages that provide fresh seafood daily. The area is also renowned for its breathtaking sunrise, considered one of Vietnam’s most beautiful.
Spanning approximately 98 hectares, the resort features 73 villas facing Nom Beach, backed by low hills, and bordering Cu Mong Lagoon. The villas are categorized into three groups: hill, rice field, and sea. The hill villas draw inspiration from Ede longhouses, the sea villas mimic ancient Cham houses along the 1 km coastline, and the rice field villas overlook lush paddy fields. Two special villas resemble Tay Nguyen communal houses, each with an infinity pool.
