At the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Initiative (CSI) Awards, Nestlé Vietnam was honored with the “CSI Star” title by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). This marks the fifth consecutive year Nestlé Vietnam has been ranked among the top 10 most sustainable manufacturing companies in Vietnam.

The year 2025 commemorates the 10th anniversary of the CSI program, which has grown in scale and quality, solidifying its position as a leading initiative in sustainable development within Vietnam. During the event, Nestlé Vietnam’s consistent presence in the top 10 sustainable manufacturing companies for five years earned it the prestigious CSI Star title.

Addressing the event, Mr. Hồ Sỹ Hùng, Chairman of VCCI, emphasized, “We are committed to transforming CSI into a national ecosystem that drives sustainable business transformation. Our goal is to turn this index into a catalyst for innovation, where companies are not only recognized for their achievements but also collaborate to shape Vietnam’s green economic future. With the 2025 CSI introducing its first-ever index version tailored for micro and small enterprises, alongside the existing version for medium and large enterprises, we aim to extend sustainable development practices to a broader spectrum of businesses, which constitute a significant portion of the national business structure.”

As Co-Chairman of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Mr. Binu Jacob, Managing Director of Nestlé Vietnam, shared, “As Vietnam strives to become a developed nation with a focus on green growth, Nestlé is committed to being a strategic partner. We continuously integrate social responsibility, environmental protection, and contributions to the nation’s sustainable future into every aspect of our business operations.”

Believing that sustainable development can only succeed when all businesses, regardless of size, have the opportunity to participate, Nestlé Vietnam not only pursues its own goals but also leads in disseminating best practices aligned with the CSI index. This contributes to building a resilient business community capable of adapting to changes and supporting national objectives.

In this spirit, Nestlé Vietnam collaborates with VBCSD and partners to implement various training programs, disseminate ESG knowledge, update legal frameworks, and share experiences with CSI 100 companies and those in the supply chain. These efforts enhance competitiveness, global value chain integration, and the realization of Vietnam’s sustainable development goals.
