Over 5,000 New Real Estate Businesses Established in the First 11 Months of 2025

According to the General Statistics Office, in November, Vietnam recorded 15.1 thousand newly established enterprises with a registered capital of 160.5 trillion VND and 83.3 thousand registered employees. This reflects a 16% decrease in the number of enterprises, a 7% decline in registered capital, and an 11% drop in registered labor compared to October.

Compared to the same period last year, November’s figures show a 34.9% increase in the number of businesses, a 16% rise in registered capital, and a nearly 8% decline in the labor force.

The average registered capital per newly established business in November reached 10.7 billion VND, up 11% from the previous month but down 14% year-over-year. Additionally, 9.7 thousand businesses resumed operations nationwide, a 16% decrease from the previous month but a 26% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

In November, 4,859 businesses registered for temporary suspension, down 19.9% month-over-month but up 14.5% year-over-year; 6,668 businesses ceased operations pending dissolution procedures, down nearly 2% and 12% respectively; and 4,022 businesses completed dissolution procedures, down over 11% but up nearly 111%.

For the first 11 months of 2025, nearly 178 thousand new businesses were registered nationwide, with a total registered capital of 1,753 trillion VND and 1,051 thousand registered workers. This reflects a 20.9% increase in businesses, a 21% rise in registered capital, and a 16% increase in labor compared to the same period last year.

The average registered capital per new business in the first 11 months of 2025 was 9.8 billion VND, unchanged from the same period in 2024. Total additional capital injected into the economy during this period reached 5.6 million billion VND, up 104% year-over-year.

Furthermore, 97.6 thousand businesses resumed operations (up 37% year-over-year), bringing the total number of newly established and reactivated businesses in the first 11 months of 2025 to 275.6 thousand, a 26% increase year-over-year. On average, 25.1 thousand businesses were established or reactivated each month.

By economic sector, 1,682 new businesses were established in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in the first 11 months of 2025, up nearly 13% year-over-year; 40.1 thousand in industry and construction, up nearly 17%; and 136.2 thousand in services, up 22.3%.

Over the same period, 110.1 thousand businesses temporarily suspended operations, up over 14% year-over-year; 64.5 thousand ceased operations pending dissolution, up nearly 12%; and 30.8 thousand completed dissolution procedures, up 60%. On average, 18.7 thousand businesses exited the market each month.

In the real estate sector, 5,183 new businesses were established in the first 11 months, up over 22% year-over-year. This was the sector with the lowest growth rate among those with increased new business registrations.

Conversely, 1,778 real estate businesses were dissolved during the same period, up over 56%. This dissolution rate was only higher than that of the wholesale, retail, and automotive repair sector.
