Western Bus Station Joint Stock Company (HNX: WCS) has announced that December 16th will be the record date for its 2024 cash dividend payment, offering a remarkable 166.66% payout. Shareholders will receive VND 16,666 for each share owned.
The ex-dividend date is set for December 15th, with the payment scheduled for December 25th, 2025. This substantial dividend distribution will total approximately VND 50 billion, given the company’s 3 million outstanding shares.
This marks the second consecutive year of high cash dividends for WCS. In 2023, shareholders received VND 16,000 per share, a significant increase from the VND 2,000 annual dividend paid from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, WCS introduced a 5:1 stock bonus this year, further rewarding its shareholders.
Currently trading at VND 295,400, WCS holds the distinction of being the highest-priced stock on the HNX and ranks among the top 5 most expensive stocks on the Vietnamese stock market.
In the first three quarters of 2025, WCS reported strong financial performance. Net revenue reached nearly VND 130 billion, a 9% year-over-year increase. Financial income surged by 18% to VND 9.5 billion. After expenses, the company’s net profit for the nine-month period stood at approximately VND 65 billion, reflecting a 9% growth compared to the same period last year.
These results demonstrate WCS’s progress towards its annual goals, achieving 73% of its revenue target and 84% of its profit objective.
Financially, WCS remains robust. Its Q3 2025 report reveals that cash and short-term financial investments totaled VND 322.77 billion, constituting 86% of its total assets. Notably, the company operates debt-free.
In a strategic move, WCS has expanded its business scope to include the electric vehicle market. This expansion encompasses investment, operation, charging station installation, and related support services.
SAMCO, WCS’s parent company holding a 51% stake, will lead the development of charging stations at major transportation hubs, including Western Bus Station. This strategic location, coupled with available land resources, positions WCS favorably within the city’s overall planning.
