The year 2025 marks a significant milestone in Vinamilk’s (HOSE: VNM) sustainable development journey, as the company achieved remarkable recognition at both the Listed Company Awards (VLCA) and the Vietnam Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Awards. Notably, Vinamilk was honored with the “CSI Star” title—a prestigious accolade reserved for companies demonstrating consistent and steadfast contributions to sustainability over a decade.
Vinamilk is among the top 11 companies to receive this distinction, having consistently ranked in the Top 10 of Vietnam’s Most Sustainable Companies for 10 consecutive years. This achievement underscores not only the company’s performance but also its unwavering commitment and long-term strategy in building a sustainable development model.

This year, among over 500 participating companies and 147 officially evaluated, Vinamilk maintained its position in the Top 10 and secured the top spot as Vietnam’s Most Sustainable Company for the second consecutive year.
This result highlights Vinamilk’s rigorous adherence to the CSI framework, which is Vietnam’s leading standard for assessing companies across four pillars: economic, environmental, social, and governance. As the CSI program celebrates its 10th anniversary, the “CSI Star” award holds special significance, recognizing Vinamilk’s pioneering role in promoting sustainable development values in Vietnam.
According to the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD-VCCI), this achievement demonstrates Vinamilk’s stability, long-term vision, and adaptability in the face of increasingly stringent ESG standards.
Beyond its success at the CSI Awards, Vinamilk also made a strong impression at VLCA 2025, securing the Second Prize for Sustainable Development Reporting. This recognition highlights companies with transparent reporting systems, consistent data, and effective ESG integration into their operations.
Vinamilk’s report meets the new requirements of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2—international standards now considered the global “common language” for sustainability reporting. The judging panel praised Vinamilk as one of the few companies adopting a substantive approach to ESG, integrating initiatives such as low-carbon agriculture, innovative packaging, supply chain governance, and a Net Zero strategy.

Notably, Vinamilk was once again awarded the Best Greenhouse Gas Emissions Disclosure Company for 2025, marking three consecutive years in the top position. Amid growing demands for carbon transparency and intense pressure on the dairy industry to reduce emissions, Vinamilk’s commitment to fully accounting for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across its value chain—verified independently since 2016—underscores its long-term vision.
Vinamilk also implements multiple international frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Dairy Sustainability Framework (DSF), carbon disclosure via CDP (a global non-profit environmental organization), and Net Zero alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These efforts collectively form a comprehensive emissions governance system—a critical factor as Vietnam prepares to launch its carbon market.
In addition to environmental transparency, corporate governance remains a highlight for Vinamilk this year. The company was honored in the Top 5 for Breakthrough Corporate Governance at the CSI Awards and ranked among the Top 8 in Corporate Governance at the Listed Company Awards. These recognitions reflect Vinamilk’s proactive efforts to elevate governance standards, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and alignment with international best practices—thereby strengthening shareholder trust and enhancing market competitiveness.
Overall, Vinamilk’s 2025 awards are not isolated achievements but a reflection of a cohesive strategy built on three pillars: transparency, governance, and sustainability. Transparent data forms the foundation for effective governance; robust governance enables large-scale ESG implementation; and sustainable development serves as the long-term guiding objective. When these elements operate as an integrated ecosystem, ESG truly delivers value and directly enhances the company’s competitive edge.
With its 2025 accomplishments, particularly the “CSI Star” title, Vinamilk continues to solidify its leadership as a Vietnamese company driving sustainable development, aligning with national climate goals, and contributing to the green transition of the economy.
