On December 19th, Vietnam will witness the groundbreaking and inauguration of over 200 projects nationwide, celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
According to Ha Tinh Newspaper, Ha Tinh province has registered six projects for this national event, including two groundbreaking ceremonies and four project launches. These projects are part of the nationwide celebration of the Party’s 14th Congress.
The total investment for these projects exceeds 128.552 trillion VND. One project is funded by the provincial budget, while the remaining projects are financed by domestic investors.
As part of this significant event, Vingroup will launch four major projects in the Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Zone:
(1) Vinmetal Ha Tinh Steel Plant, with an investment of nearly 80 trillion VND, covering an area of 461 hectares;
(2) Ky Trinh New Urban Area (Song Tri Ward), with an investment of 8 trillion VND, spanning over 84 hectares;
(3) Ky Anh Wind Power Plant, with a capacity of 400 MW, generating 1,053.3 GWh annually, and an investment of 17.051 trillion VND;
(4) Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant, with an investment of 22.647 trillion VND, a capacity of nearly 500 MW, and an expected annual output of over 1,322 GWh.
Mr. Pham Van Tinh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, stated, “The four large-scale projects by Vingroup in Vung Ang Economic Zone are pivotal in driving the development of the economic zone and Ha Tinh province. These projects aim to position the region as a strategic industrial and energy hub for the nation. The Management Board is actively supporting investors in completing legal procedures, coordinating land clearance with local authorities, and ensuring timely preparations for the project launches.”
In addition to the four projects in Vung Ang, Ha Tinh will also commence two other projects during this event. These include the construction of the Ha Tinh Museum, a key cultural project for the 2025–2030 period, with a total investment of 305 billion VND from the provincial budget. The museum will cover an area of 2.28 hectares, featuring a four-story main building and other facilities totaling 12,990 m².
