Year-End Shopping Boom: A Peak Season for E-Commerce

According to Metric’s forecast, Vietnam’s e-commerce market in Q4/2025 is expected to reach approximately VND 105 trillion in revenue, with nearly 1.1 billion products sold—a 1.35% and 8.14% increase compared to Q3, respectively.

This surge is driven by major shopping events like 11.11, 12.12, and New Year’s celebrations, alongside robust demand for electronics, home appliances, and fashion items.

Amid this growth, logistics companies face immense pressure. The sudden spike in orders requires delivery providers to maintain stable processing speeds and ensure seamless cargo flow.

As a result, the logistics sector plays a critical role in supporting online sellers, SMEs, and individuals relying on shipping services during the year-end festivities.

Scaling Up to Meet Peak Demand

To address the seasonal surge, J&T Express has implemented several key upgrades across its network. These include hiring thousands of additional staff for sorting centers and post offices, adding 265 trucks in December, and leveraging advanced technology to ensure peak performance.

Ms. Thúy Quỳnh, brand representative for Yên Hy Bird’s Nest, notes that year-end gifting demand spikes, especially for health-boosting products. Timely delivery becomes critical as order volumes soar, directly impacting customer satisfaction.

Currently, J&T Express handles most of Yên Hy’s shipments. Ms. Quỳnh highlights that during this peak season, J&T’s operational enhancements are evident through punctual deliveries and transparent tracking updates. Most orders arrive ahead of schedule, helping the brand maintain consistent customer experiences despite higher volumes.

Each bird’s nest box is meticulously packaged by Yên Hy with shockproof layers and sealed tags. Upon delivery, the packaging remains intact, ensuring product quality. “This attention to detail reinforces our brand’s professionalism from the moment customers unbox their orders,” Ms. Quỳnh adds.

As a three-year Yên Hy customer, Ms. Yến Nhi praises J&T Express’s reliability. During a rare delay caused by severe flooding, the delivery staff promptly explained the situation, apologized, and rescheduled the delivery to her convenience. This responsive and sincere handling strengthened her trust in J&T, even during peak periods.

Upholding Quality Commitments During Peak Season

A J&T Express spokesperson emphasizes that year-end is their most resource-intensive period, focused on maintaining stable delivery speeds despite surging order volumes. This commitment is central to their long-term quality strategy, not just a short-term promise.
