In November, Mazda sold 3,200 vehicles nationwide. The Mazda CX-5 continued to dominate its segment, achieving sales of 1,766 units, reflecting strong year-end consumer demand.
Moving into December, Mazda maintains its substantial incentives for its flagship model. Specifically, the mid-size crossover receives a price reduction of 40 million VND, along with new equipment gifts and exterior personalization options.
With these discounts, the starting price of the Mazda CX-5 drops to just 709 million VND for the standard version. The top-tier variant sees a reduction from 979 million VND to 934 million VND, excluding additional dealership incentives.
The discounted Mazda CX-5 now starts at a price comparable to some B-segment SUVs.
This price reduction is likely to bolster the competitiveness of Mazda’s flagship mid-size SUV, especially given its highly praised build quality and interior design.
Additionally, the continued aggressive discounts for the CX-5 are seen as a strategic move by the brand, as Thaco Auto recently unveiled the first details of the new-generation Mazda CX-5 in Vietnam.
The new-generation Mazda CX-5 has been introduced in Vietnam by Thaco.
According to the plan, the new-generation CX-5 will be available in Vietnam starting November 2026. However, the distributor has not confirmed whether the vehicle will be locally assembled or fully imported.
Notably, this model was globally unveiled in July 2025 and showcased in Japan in October 2025. Vietnam is the first Southeast Asian country to feature this vehicle, even ahead of the U.S. market.
Alongside the CX-5, Mazda’s December promotion extends to all other models in its lineup.
The large SUV, Mazda CX-8, receives the highest discount of up to 50 million VND, bringing its starting price down to 944 million VND, ideal for multi-generational families or corporate transportation needs.
For younger customers, the New CX-3 offers a discount of up to 20 million VND, with prices starting from 529 million VND. Sedan models like the Mazda2 and Mazda3 also feature competitive pricing, starting at 403 million VND, targeting first-time buyers focused on fuel efficiency and a stable driving experience.
