The case of Mr. Do Van Huu, who mistakenly built a house on the land of Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Loan in Thien Huong Ward, Hai Phong City, has caused a stir and garnered significant public attention. Recently, Mr. Huu’s house was successfully relocated to its correct position by the skilled team led by Hoang Dinh Bach after over a month of construction.
According to Tri Thuc – Znews, after moving the house to Mr. Huu’s land on December 5th, the team continued to adjust and stabilize the entire structure. They assembled iron pillars, poured concrete for connections, and completed the pillar work in the final days of the project.

Currently, the support system, rollers, cables, and braces have been dismantled. The team is also clearing the construction site and collecting equipment.
Hoang Dinh Bach, known as the “skilled mover,” shared that relocating Mr. Huu’s house presented both technical and psychological challenges. His team worked diligently to ensure the highest quality results.
Bach stated that after the relocation, the house remains “approximately 99% intact,” with only minor chips in the foundation due to friction during the move. He expects the project to be completed by December 11th. Bach emphasized that, from the outside, one would never guess the house had been relocated unless examining the foundation.

As the final stages near completion, Bach is most satisfied not only with the technical success but also with resolving the prolonged dispute between Mr. Huu and Mrs. Loan. He is delighted to have helped both families overcome their differences, which were previously difficult to reconcile.
Previously, in an interview with VnExpress, Mrs. Loan stated that after the house was relocated and her land was returned, she would inspect the site for any remaining foundation piles. If found, she would work with Mr. Huu to remove them or establish a handover agreement to prevent further disputes.

Case Timeline
In November 2024, Mrs. Loan discovered that one of her two newly purchased plots in Village 7, Kien Bai Commune, Thuy Nguyen District (now Thien Huong Ward, Hai Phong City) had been mistakenly built upon by Mr. Huu. The adjacent plots were purchased in September of the same year and had been granted land titles.
Mrs. Loan and local authorities repeatedly requested Mr. Huu to halt construction and return the land, but he continued to complete the project. Mr. Huu claimed the mistake was due to incorrect guidance from a land broker. Despite multiple resolution attempts, the parties failed to reach an agreement, leading Mrs. Loan to file a lawsuit.
On August 11, 2025, the Hai Phong Regional People’s Court ordered Mr. Huu to relocate his property, dismantle the structure, and return the land to Mrs. Loan. However, Mr. Huu appealed the decision instead of demolishing the house. He later withdrew his appeal entirely.
Mr. Huu then filed a complaint with the Hai Phong City Police against individuals involved in the land transaction in Village 7, Kien Bai Commune, Thuy Nguyen District.
In October 2025, the two parties attempted to negotiate a sale of the house but failed to agree on pricing and payment terms. By late November 2025, Mr. Huu decided to hire a skilled team to relocate the house to its correct position.
