The old apartment felt cramped due to its compartmentalized layout. To address this, the architect removed the wall of the former bedroom, seamlessly merging the living room, dining area, and workspace. This transformation created a fluid, open-plan layout with a broader, more refreshing vista.

The workspace is cleverly integrated into the open-plan area, maximizing unused space. It’s subtly separated by a wooden partition and a recessed wall, ensuring functionality without disrupting the flow.

The altar area strikes a perfect balance between modern and traditional design, maintaining a solemn ambiance that aligns with the homeowner’s preferences. Warm coral accents, subtly incorporated, blend seamlessly with the neutral, serene palette, infusing vitality into the space.

A miniature garden, as requested by the homeowner, features curved corners and a laminated wood wall, serving as a subtle divider between the hallway, bedrooms, and dining area.

The entryway cleverly incorporates a storage system with decorative shelves and auxiliary shoe cabinets. Recessed handles ensure a sleek, cohesive look. A curved archway leads to the dressing area, offering privacy and a soft architectural touch, complemented by a matching vanity mirror.

The grandparents’ bedroom embodies minimalist elegance, focusing on relaxation with a neutral palette of beige and cream. Natural materials like light-toned wood enhance the serene atmosphere. The wardrobe, reaching the ceiling and handle-free, includes built-in niches for small items, doubling as a bedside table.
