Exclusive Investment Opportunity: December 6-12, 2025 – 5 Mega Urban Projects, Nearly $5.3 Billion in Capital

During the week of December 6–12, 2025, nine provinces and cities attracted investment for 11 projects, totaling over 132 trillion VND. Notably, the Phu Tho Eco-Complex Urban Area project stands out with an investment of more than 102.8 trillion VND. Additionally, one industrial zone and two biomass power plants were also part of the investment calls.

Phu Tho: 1 Project

The People’s Committee of Phu Tho Province announced the Phu Tho Eco-Complex Urban Area project (urban, tourism, and service development land near Ho Sau Vo Lake) in Vinh Yen Ward and Binh Nguyen, Yen Lac, Xuan Lang, and Nguyet Duc Communes. The estimated total investment is approximately VND 102.836 billion (excluding land rental and land use fees). This is the largest housing project in the province to date.

The land area spans nearly 1,625 hectares, with an expected population of around 98,000 (excluding existing residents). The housing structure includes approximately 12,600 adjacent houses, 11,308 villas, 14,395 apartments, and social housing. The investor will contribute an amount equivalent to the land value invested in technical infrastructure for social housing, as per Article 83, Clause 2 of the 2023 Housing Law.

The project will be completed within 9 years from the date of land allocation, lease, or purpose conversion approval. The project duration is 50 years from the same date.

Quang Ninh: 1 Project

The Project Management Board of Quang Ninh Province’s Area I announced a mixed-use urban area project in Quang Hanh Ward, covering nearly 132.4 hectares. This includes over 30.4 hectares for commercial housing (max 3 floors), 8.3 hectares for social housing (max 10 floors), 4 hectares for tourism and services, and nearly 7.6 hectares for social infrastructure.

The total investment is VND 11,295 billion. Construction and operation will be completed within 60 months from the land allocation or lease approval date.

Gia Lai: 1 Project

Gia Lai’s Department of Finance announced the Cat Hai Center Urban Area project in Cat Tien Commune, covering nearly 67.9 hectares. The investment exceeds VND 3.4 trillion. The project will be completed within 72 months (6 years) from the effective date of the project contract.

Son La: 1 Project

Son La Province’s People’s Committee plans to select an investor for the Van Ho Cloud Therapy Eco-Urban Area project, covering approximately 170 hectares, in December 2025.

The project includes 190 eco-resort villas (max 3 floors), commercial buildings (max 7 floors), and 1,150 new residential units. The investment is VND 3,037 billion.

Nghe An: 1 Project

Nghe An’s Department of Finance announced the Bac Thung Urban and Commercial Service Area project in Van An Commune, with an investment of over VND 1,104 billion. The project will be completed within 7 years.

Ha Tinh: 2 Projects

Ha Tinh’s Department of Finance announced two residential projects covering over 89 hectares, with a total investment of over VND 1,030 billion.

The Tien Dien Residential Area spans 57.45 hectares, with an investment of VND 664 billion. Phase 1 covers nearly 39.7 hectares, including 151 villas, 86 shophouses, and 855 adjacent land plots. Phase 2 covers over 17.7 hectares with 704 adjacent land plots. Phase 1 will be completed within 30 months, and Phase 2 within 18 months from land allocation or lease approval.

The Ky Tay New Rural Residential Area covers over 31.8 hectares. Phase 1 includes 459 adjacent plots and 32 villas on nearly 19.2 hectares. Phase 2 covers over 12.6 hectares with 170 adjacent plots. The total investment is over VND 367 billion. Phase 1 will be completed within 24 months, and Phase 2 within 18 months.

Tay Ninh: 1 Project

The People’s Committee of Hau Nghia Commune announced the Hau Nghia Town Residential Area project, covering approximately 10.4 hectares. It includes 320 commercial houses (252 adjacent and 68 villas) and 240 social housing apartments.

The project will be completed within 3 years from investor selection or approval. The total investment is over VND 2,238 billion.

Hue: 1 Project

The Management Board of Thua Thien Hue’s Economic and Industrial Zones announced the La Son Industrial Zone Infrastructure Development Project (Zone 01) in Hung Loc Commune, covering over 467 hectares. The total investment is VND 3,075 billion. The investor must prove ownership of at least 15% of the total investment, equivalent to over VND 461 billion.

Construction and operation will be completed within 5 years from land lease approval and handover.

An Giang: 2 Biomass Power Plant Projects

An Giang’s Department of Industry and Trade announced the An Giang 1 Biomass Power Plant project in Vinh Gia Commune, with a capacity of 50MW and an area of nearly 15.3 hectares. The investment is VND 2,930 billion. The project will be completed within 48 months from investment approval.

The Nui To I Biomass Power Plant in Tri Ton Commune has a capacity of 20MW and covers 17.4 hectares. The investment is VND 1,110 billion. The project will be completed within 24 months from investment approval.
