On the morning of December 16th, in Bàn Thạch Ward, Mr. Trần Anh Tuấn, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to review the disbursement progress of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Regions, as well as the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction.

According to the report from the Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Environment, the total planned capital for the 2025 National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction across city departments and units is over 71.8 billion VND. As of December 15th, city departments and units have disbursed more than 44.6 billion VND, achieving a 62% disbursement rate.

Regarding the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Regions, the Da Nang Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion reported that the total allocated capital for 2025 is over 1.12 trillion VND. As of November 30th, more than 480 billion VND has been disbursed, representing a 43% disbursement rate.
During the meeting, all departments and units reported that actual disbursement figures are higher than reported. Several units have completed 100% capital disbursement, while others have committed to achieving 100% disbursement by December 31st.
Vice Chairman Trần Anh Tuấn commended units that have completed or committed to completing 100% capital disbursement in 2025, including Quang Nam College, the Employment Service Center, and the Department of Science and Technology.

The leadership of Da Nang City People’s Committee noted that this meeting was “smoother” than previous ones, with impressive disbursement rates reflecting significant efforts by all units over the past period.
To ensure the successful achievement of the disbursement targets, Mr. Trần Anh Tuấn directed investors to thoroughly review all unfinished projects and urgently finalize settlement procedures.
For ongoing projects, he mandated their completion by December 31, 2025, at the latest.
By the end of this month, all units must report their implementation results to the steering committee and relevant departments.
