The auction scheduled for December 20th, organized by the People’s Committee of Phuong Duc Commune, features 28 land plots in Duong La and Phu Tuc villages. These plots range from 80 to 99 square meters, with starting prices from 4.6 million VND per square meter, attracting significant interest from local residents and investors.

Following this, on December 25th, Lac Viet Auction Company, in collaboration with the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Hat Mon Commune, will auction 15 land plots in Cong Noi and Cat Ha areas. These plots range from 96 to 134 square meters, with starting prices between 6.4 and 7.9 million VND per square meter. The auction will take place at the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board’s hall in Hat Mon Commune.
The auction momentum continues on December 27th, as the People’s Committee of Tien Thang Commune offers 33 land plots for auction. These plots range from 80 to 126 square meters, with a starting price of 5.1 million VND per square meter.
During this period, Vietnam Auction Company also announced the auction of 33 land plots in Yen Lang Commune, spanning Nai Chau and Xa Mac villages. These plots range from 95 to 190 square meters, with starting prices between 5 and 7 million VND per square meter. The auction is scheduled for the morning of December 29th.
Beyond individual residential plots, Hanoi is also auctioning large-scale land areas for project development during this year-end period.
On December 27th, the People’s Committee of Phu Dien Ward will auction the CT land plot in the resettlement area adjacent to Phu Dien Road, covering over 14,351 square meters. Approximately 6,500 square meters of this land is designated for low-rise housing projects, with a starting price of nearly 713 billion VND, equivalent to around 110 million VND per square meter. Participating investors must deposit 143 billion VND in advance.
On the same day, a 5.72-hectare land plot in Dong Xenh – Vuon Gan, Quang Oai Commune (formerly part of Ba Vi), will also be auctioned. Of this, 1.7 hectares allocated for low-rise housing will be up for auction, with a starting price of over 479 billion VND.
This land plot is comprehensively planned, including areas for low-rise housing, social housing, public facilities, green spaces, sports areas, and technical infrastructure.

The 3,366-square-meter plot at 18 Cao Ba Quat is designated for a 5-star hotel project, with a building height of 5 to 6 floors. The starting price for the first round of bidding reached 201.7 million VND per square meter.
Hanoi’s consecutive land auctions at the end of the year are expected to significantly boost budget revenue while efficiently leveraging land resources to drive urban development in the coming period.
According to the 2025 socio-economic development report by the Hanoi People’s Committee, as of October, the city’s budget revenue exceeded the target by over 10%, reaching nearly 568 trillion VND. This represents a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. Land use revenue alone reached 89 trillion VND, a 167% increase year-on-year.
