Nationwide Affordable Housing Projects Break Ground on Special Occasion

In Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security has launched two large-scale social housing projects dedicated to the People’s Public Security forces. The Sơn Đồng housing project, with a total investment of VND 3,271 billion, will provide 1,325 apartments. Meanwhile, the Vĩnh Thành housing project, valued at VND 3,799 billion, will offer 2,012 apartments. Both projects are developed by Confitech Tây Hà Nội Joint Stock Company.

Simultaneously, Hanoi has commenced the Tiên Dương 1 social housing project in Phúc Thịnh commune, with an estimated investment of VND 9,300 billion. This project, executed by a consortium of Viglacera Corporation, Hoàng Thành Infrastructure Investment and Development JSC, and Central Construction JSC, is expected to significantly boost the supply of social housing in the capital in the coming years.

During this period, Quảng Ninh province has initiated five social housing projects with a total investment of VND 9,166 billion.

These include: a social housing project on 20% of the land fund in the new urban area of Trần Thái Tông ward, Cao Xanh ward (VND 592 billion); a social housing project on 20% of the land fund in the Ao Tiên new urban area investment project, Hà Tu ward (VND 1,711 billion); a social housing project on lot 10 in the Ao Tiên new urban area infrastructure business project, Vân Đồn special zone (VND 1,229 billion); a social housing project in the Bãi Cháy service urban area, Bãi Cháy ward (VND 3,368 billion); and a social housing project on AOM-72 land plot in zone 2, Cao Xanh ward (VND 2,266 billion).

Da Nang city has also launched two projects: a social housing project on apartment land plot 3 – zone B of the Nam cầu Cẩm Lệ residential area (VND 1,015 billion); and a social housing project on apartment land plot 5 in zone B of the Nam cầu Cẩm Lệ residential area (VND 1,373 billion).

Hue city has begun construction on a social housing project in the Thủy Vân complex phase 2, developed by a consortium of Cotana Group JSC, Telin Group JSC, and Cotana Capital Real Estate Investment and Development JSC. Additionally, a social housing project in the eastern urban area of Thủy Dương – Thuận An road, zone E of the new An Vân Dương urban area, has also been initiated.

Several other localities have joined the nationwide construction launch event. Quảng Trị province will start a social housing project in the center of Đồng Hới city (VND 637 billion).

In Cần Thơ, two projects scheduled for launch on December 19 include: the An Phú Eco City social housing complex 2 in Cái Răng ward (VND 281 billion); and the Hồng Loan social housing apartment block A (VND 284 billion).

In Hải Phòng, the inauguration of seven apartment buildings within the Tràng Duệ social housing project, part of the urban, service, and worker housing complex, is planned for December 19.
