On December 19th, the entire nation will witness the groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening ceremonies of 234 projects and works, marking a grand celebration in honor of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Ministry of Construction has confirmed that 234 projects across 34 provinces and cities are ready for these events. This includes the groundbreaking of 148 projects and the inauguration or technical opening of 86 others. The breakdown is as follows: 38 projects under ministries and sectors, 39 by corporations and general companies, and 157 local projects.
The total investment for these projects exceeds 3.4 million trillion VND. State funding accounts for 627 trillion VND across 96 projects (18% of the total), while the remaining 138 projects, funded by other sources, amount to over 2.79 million trillion VND (82% of the total).
The ceremonies will be held both in-person and online across 79 locations nationwide, symbolizing the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day. The main event will take place at the groundbreaking of the Olympic Sports Urban Area in Thuong Phuc Commune, Hanoi, and will be broadcast live.
