On the morning of December 19, the People’s Committee of Da Nang City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project in infrastructure construction and operation of Sub-zone B of Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park. The project, with a total investment capital of 3.373 trillion VND, is led by Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of BIN Corporation Group chaired by Le Hung Anh.
Spanning nearly 350 hectares, Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park is located in the communes of Thang Truong and Thang Dien. The project was approved by the former Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee in May 2025, with an operational term of up to 70 years from the approval date.
Designed as a smart and eco-friendly industrial park, Nam Thang Binh integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into its management and operations. The park prioritizes industries with high symbiosis, environmental sustainability, renewable energy use, and reduced emissions, while increasing green spaces. It focuses on high-tech, value-added production sectors aligned with sustainable development goals.
In addition to manufacturing infrastructure, the project aims to attract high-tech industries such as information technology, telecommunications, electronics, deep processing of silica, and the production of pharmaceutical materials and local agricultural exports.

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Hung Anh, Chairman of BIN Corporation Group, emphasized that Nam Thang Binh will not follow the traditional industrial park model. Instead, it is envisioned as an eco-tech-energy industrial hub from its inception.
Moving forward, the developer plans to implement a large-scale solar power system combined with BESS energy storage to ensure a stable, clean energy supply and reduce operational costs. This foundation will support the development of a data center and AI infrastructure, positioning Nam Thang Binh as a future hub for AI enterprises, products, and solutions.
Notably, the AI data centers in Nam Thang Binh are expected to connect with a 400 MW AI data center that BIN Corporation is developing in Texas, USA. This connection aims to create a cross-border data and technology ecosystem, enabling Vietnamese businesses to access global AI infrastructure domestically.
Da Nang City leaders stated that, alongside Sub-zone A of Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park, the operational Tam Thang and expanded Tam Thang 2 Industrial Parks, and the upcoming Thang Binh High-Tech Industrial Park, Sub-zone B’s infrastructure project is poised to become a cornerstone for growth. It will unlock new development potential and establish a key economic hub in the city’s southern region.
