
According to internal information from Hoa Phat Group’s website, in 2026, the company plans to recruit 2,000 personnel to meet production demands and expand its projects, particularly the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Special Steel and Railway Track Production Project.
The recruitment drive primarily focuses on the technical and operations sectors. Among these, the positions of Mechanical Technician and Electrical Technician are in highest demand, with approximately 900 openings available for candidates holding at least a basic qualification.
Additionally, Hoa Phat is hiring 300 professionals in technical, economic, and related fields. The company is also allocating 500 positions for unskilled laborers, who will undergo comprehensive training before being assigned to their roles. The recruitment process will continue throughout 2026.
On December 19th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Special Steel and Railway Track Production Project took place in Quang Ngai Province, within the Eastern Industrial Zone of Dung Quat Economic Zone.
The project boasts a designed capacity of 700,000 tons per year, with a total investment exceeding 10 trillion VND, and will be developed on nearly 15 hectares of land.
The advanced steel products from the plant will include high-speed railway tracks, urban railway tracks, crane rails, and various other special steel types.
By 2027, the first high-speed railway tracks are expected to hit the market, positioning Hoa Phat as the first and only company in Southeast Asia to produce this type of steel.
Regarding the timeline, Chairman Tran Dinh Long stated that the group has completed land clearance and legal procedures. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, contractors will commence construction simultaneously. By mid-2026, equipment installation will begin, and the first “Made in Vietnam” railway track steel products will be launched in 2027, a year ahead of the original schedule.
Hòa Phát Acquires Over 230-Hectare Industrial Zone in Hưng Yên
Industrial Zone No. 06 – Phase 1, spanning over 230 hectares, is strategically located in An Thi and Xuan Truc communes, Hung Yen province. With a total investment of more than 2,700 billion VND, the project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
