The new payment schedule applies to residents, workers, and vulnerable groups in Central and Central Highlands provinces impacted by storms No. 12 and 13, as well as floods in October and November 2025. These provinces include Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong. The policy will be implemented until December 31, 2025.

Regarding the pension payment schedule, the Ministry of Finance has directed the Vietnam Social Security to consolidate and disburse three months’ worth of pensions and social insurance allowances—covering December 2025, January 2026, and February 2026—in a single payment during the December 2025 payout period. This applies to beneficiaries in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong provinces, enabling residents to better manage their finances ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year.

In addition to adjusting the pension payment schedule, social insurance agencies are required to expedite the issuance and renewal of health insurance cards and resolve any issues related to medical examination and treatment procedures. This ensures that health insurance participants in flood-affected areas can fully access their healthcare benefits during the year-end period.
