The Le Loi Street Beautification Project was successfully completed on December 23, 2025, unveiling a stunning new look for Ho Chi Minh City. Sponsored and executed by Khang Dien House Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, the project received approval from the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Stretching approximately 950 meters, Le Loi Street runs from the City Theater to the square in front of Ben Thanh Market, intersecting key roads such as Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and Pasteur. It spans the wards of Sai Gon and Ben Thanh.
This iconic street is home to many of Ho Chi Minh City’s landmarks, including the City Theater, Ben Thanh Market, renowned hotels like Caravelle, Continental, and Rex, and major shopping centers such as Saigon Centre – Takashimaya.
The project focused on enhancing Le Loi Street and Lam Son Square, including the renovation of building facades from Ben Thanh Market to Rex Hotel, the former Hoang Long Restaurant area, and Apartment 9 on Lam Son Square. Sidewalks and median strips were also upgraded.
Khang Dien House Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company implemented comprehensive improvements, upgrading sidewalks, median strips, and adding greenery. Sidewalks were paved with durable granite.
The facades of buildings from Ben Thanh Market to Rex Hotel, the former Hoang Long Restaurant, and Apartment 9 on Lam Son Square have been refreshed with new paint.
The long-abandoned Hoang Long Restaurant, once overgrown with weeds and mold, has been thoroughly cleaned and repainted. Apartment 9 on Lam Son Square, previously dilapidated, now boasts a vibrant new look with shades of pale green and navy blue. Defaced roller shutters along the street have also been cleaned and repainted.
The completion of Le Loi Street’s beautification is part of Ho Chi Minh City’s broader initiative to upgrade its central urban spaces with a focus on synchronization, precision, and sustainability.
The city highly appreciates the collaboration of businesses in community-focused initiatives and considers this a positive model for potential expansion to other areas in the future.
