The project spans nearly 1km, from Ben Thanh Market to the intersection of Nguyen Hue, along with several structures in Lam Son Square.
Key components include repainting and enhancing the facades of buildings along the route, reorganizing and standardizing signage, installing granite pavements and median strips, and adding greenery and flower beds to create a unified, modern urban space that respects existing architectural contexts.
Construction is meticulously organized in segments to minimize disruption to residents, businesses, and tourism activities. Throughout the project, safety, environmental hygiene, and urban order are prioritized.
Upon completion, the project not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of Le Loi Street—a hub of commerce, culture, and urban memories in Ho Chi Minh City—but also provides convenient pedestrian spaces and experiences for residents and tourists, especially during festivals, holidays, and major city events.
The Le Loi Street renovation project exemplifies collaboration among the government, businesses, and citizens in improving public spaces. It is hailed as an effective partnership model that could be replicated in other areas of Ho Chi Minh City.
