The People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province has issued a directive to implement four inspection conclusions from the Provincial Inspectorate regarding investment projects facing prolonged difficulties and obstacles.
The Song Lo tourism and entertainment complex has been subject to complaints and grievances from locals for nearly 30 years.
According to the inspection findings, there are currently 54 delayed investment projects across the province due to various reasons. The Provincial Inspectorate has identified violations and shortcomings by investors, as well as limitations in state management by relevant agencies during project implementation.
For these projects, the People’s Committee has instructed the Directors of the Departments of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, and Construction, along with related agencies and localities, to proactively review and compile a comprehensive list of emerging challenges. Based on this, the units will promptly advise and propose solutions to the People’s Committee for reporting to the Steering Committee 751 for matters beyond their authority. Simultaneously, they will resolve issues within the province’s jurisdiction, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
The People’s Committee has also tasked the Provincial Tax Department with leading the review and inspection of investors’ financial obligations to the state, in collaboration with the Departments of Finance and Agriculture and Environment. Based on the inspection results, relevant agencies will advise the People’s Committee on handling post-inspection issues to prevent budget losses.
In addition to the 54 projects covered by the four inspection conclusions, there are nine suspended projects outside the inspection scope. The People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province has assigned departments and agencies to continue studying and proposing solutions for these projects.
The Cho Dam – Nha Trang project (phase 1) is currently facing challenges and obstacles.

For the Mepico – Nha Trang urban area project, based on the inspection conclusion No. 2247 dated September 30, 2025, from the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense, the People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Finance to lead the resolution of issues within the province’s jurisdiction.
Regarding projects involving military land, the Provincial Inspectorate will hand over the files to the Ministry of National Defense upon request. The Department of Home Affairs will lead the process of determining the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, ensuring compliance with the Politburo’s guidelines and the Provincial Party Committee’s directives.
