Suzuki Vietnam has recently launched the new “Su Coc” model, not the Carry Blind Van, but the Eeco Van. This vehicle retains the iconic “frog-like” design of its predecessor but features significant differences in size and styling.

The Eeco Van measures 3,675 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,350 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm. These dimensions are slightly smaller than the VinFast EC Van (3,767 x 1,680 x 1,790 mm, wheelbase 2,520 mm).

The body configuration includes 5 doors, with a sliding side door for convenient cargo loading and unloading. This “sliding door” feature is a unique advantage over the EC Van.

The Eeco Van’s exterior design is more refined than the Carry Van, with smoother, rounded details. It retains halogen headlights, halogen taillights, and a high-mounted LED brake light. The vehicle is equipped with 13-inch steel wheels.

The interior is straightforward, featuring two front seats. The dashboard and steering wheel are more modern than the previous Carry Van. The vehicle has only a mechanical gauge cluster behind the steering wheel and lacks an infotainment screen. The air conditioning, windows, and mirrors are manually operated. The cargo area measures 1,632 mm in length, 1,309 mm in width, and 1,072 mm in height.

Under the hood, the Eeco Van is powered by a 1.197 cc K12N gasoline engine, featuring a 4-cylinder, 16-valve configuration. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 59.4 kW (approximately 80 horsepower) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 104.4 Nm at 3,000 rpm. It employs a multi-point fuel injection system paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The fuel tank capacity is 32 liters. With an average fuel consumption of around 6.5 liters per 100 km, the vehicle can travel approximately 500 km on a full tank.

Safety features on the Eeco Van include dual front airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), rear parking sensors, child safety locks, door reinforcement bars, and an anti-theft system. These enhancements significantly surpass those of the previous Carry Van.
