Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia meets with representatives from Lotus Invest Limited to discuss investment opportunities in Hung Yen.
According to the Hung Yen Provincial Portal and Hung Yen Newspaper, on January 6th, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia held a meeting with representatives from Lotus Invest Limited, a Hong Kong-based investment fund, to discuss a potential film, theater, and tourism complex project in Hung Yen.
Lotus Invest Limited specializes in finance, energy, technology, hospitality, and real estate. The fund has identified ASEAN, particularly Vietnam, as a key investment focus for the coming years.
During the meeting, Lotus Invest Limited expressed interest in developing a multi-functional complex, including a film center, theater, performance venue, film studio, and entertainment park, alongside restaurants and hotels. The proposed project spans 200-300 hectares with an investment of over 1 billion USD, slated for completion within 5 years.
Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia praised Lotus Invest Limited’s investment proposal and assured the province’s full support in facilitating surveys, research, and project implementation in compliance with legal regulations.
Following discussions, Lotus Invest Limited agreed to conduct on-site surveys in Tien Tien and Dien Ha communes to further assess the project’s feasibility.

In November 2024, the National Assembly approved a resolution on the National Target Program for Cultural Development for 2025-2035.
The program’s total funding for 2025-2030 is at least 122.25 trillion VND, with 77 trillion VND (63%) from the central budget, 30.25 trillion VND (24.6%) from local budgets, and 15 trillion VND (12.4%) from other sources.
Recently, Hung Yen has hosted several large-scale concerts. Notably, the Y Concert in late 2025 attracted approximately 90,000 attendees from 2:00 PM on December 20th until 12:30 AM the following day, setting a new record for domestic music events.
The 90,000 attendees highlight the emergence of a ‘new mass market,’ surpassing even BlackPink’s 2023 Hanoi concerts, which drew over 60,000 fans across two nights.
