The Department of Construction of Quang Ngai Province announced that the Provincial People’s Committee has approved the investment policy and assigned the implementation of the social housing project at the Quang Ngai Trade Union Facility Area.

According to the decision, Saigon Thuan Phuoc Green Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Da Nang City) is the project investor, with the implementation carried out by a joint venture between Saigon Thuan Phuoc Green Real Estate JSC and VJCO Group JSC (Hanoi). The project will be developed on a 2.57-hectare plot in Tho Phong Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

As per the approved detailed plan, the investor will construct three 12-story residential buildings, each approximately 45 meters tall. The total construction area exceeds 9,600 m², with a total floor area of over 102,000 m², accommodating 1,209 apartments to house more than 3,000 residents.

The project is strategically located near the VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park.

Beyond residential buildings, the project includes comprehensive technical and social infrastructure development. The site will feature internal roads, green spaces, gardens, a kindergarten, and community facilities.

Notable amenities include a nearly 1,000 m² community center and a parking area exceeding 10,000 m². The total investment is nearly VND 1.1 trillion, with VND 219 billion contributed by the joint venture investors, and the remainder sourced from loans and other lawful funding.

Key milestones include completing investment preparations by Q1/2026, commencing technical infrastructure construction in mid-2026, and sequentially finishing main components—three high-rise buildings, community center, kindergarten, and parking facilities—from late 2026 to mid-2028. Full project operation is slated for late 2028.

Given its scale and timeline, the social housing project at the Quang Ngai Trade Union Facility Area is poised to become a vital housing solution for workers, particularly those employed at the nearby VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park, which hosts tens of thousands of laborers.
