The Hanoi People’s Committee’s Inspection Team has released findings on administrative procedure delays in Long Biên Ward. The investigation focused on the transition from a 3-tier to a 2-tier local government model, revealing significant delays in land-related administrative procedures.
Out of 26 reviewed land-related cases, 20 exceeded the stipulated deadlines. Notably, 2 cases were delayed by 134 working days, and another 2 by 82 working days.

The Inspection Team recommended the Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee direct Long Biên Ward authorities to conduct a thorough review and hold accountable individuals responsible for the delays. Additionally, they urged the immediate resolution of pending cases and the issuance of apologies to affected citizens and organizations as per regulations.
On January 8th, the Long Biên Ward Party Committee leadership confirmed that the Ward People’s Committee has been tasked with addressing these issues and taking appropriate action against the involved officials.
