In December 2025, the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen Province approved the selection of Suncorp Holdings Co., Ltd. as the investor for the Thanh Cong Urban Area Project (Zone 4). This significant development marks a pivotal step in the region’s urban planning and infrastructure enhancement.

Spanning over 37.7 hectares in Thanh Cong Commune, the project is designed to accommodate approximately 3,900 residents. With a projected investment of nearly 1.25 trillion VND, the initiative is slated for completion by Q3 2030. The primary objectives include the synchronized development of technical and social infrastructure, optimized land utilization, and the provision of housing solutions to meet local demand. Additionally, the project aims to stimulate socioeconomic growth in the area.

Established in September 2020 and headquartered in Hanoi, Suncorp Holdings initially operated with a charter capital of 10 billion VND under the leadership of Mr. Ho Thanh Nga. In November of the same year, management was transferred to Mr. Pham Minh Quyet. By March 2023, the company increased its capital to 230 billion VND. Subsequently, in mid-2024, Suncorp Holdings streamlined its business portfolio from 25 to 16 sectors, pivoting its focus from retailing electronics and furniture to real estate development. Concurrently, the company relocated its headquarters to Thai Nguyen.

In January 2025, Suncorp Holdings transitioned to a joint-stock company structure, maintaining its capital while adjusting its shareholder composition. The current equity distribution includes Danco Investment JSC (58.835%), Daco Investment Co., Ltd. (27.443%), and Mr. Pham Minh Quyet (13.722%). Both Danco and Daco share a registered address on Tran Khat Chan Street, Hanoi.

Beyond Suncorp Holdings, Mr. Pham Minh Quyet serves as the legal representative for several entities, including Danco Investment JSC, Danco Holdings JSC (where he also holds the chairmanship), Danco Power JSC, and Danco Land JSC. Danco Holdings specializes in real estate, hospitality, tourism, industrial development, and renewable energy.
