In Q4 2025, Hoa Phat Group produced over 3 million tons of crude steel, marking a 10% increase from Q3 and a 36% surge compared to the same period in 2024. Sales of hot-rolled coil (HRC), construction steel, high-quality steel, and billet reached 3 million tons, up 24% quarter-on-quarter and 53% year-on-year. For the full year 2025, Hoa Phat achieved a record sales volume of 10.6 million tons, a 31% increase from the previous year.
With 1.3 million tons, Hoa Phat’s construction steel and high-quality steel coils achieved their highest quarterly result ever, rising 24% from the previous quarter and 14% from Q4 2024. In December alone, sales of these products hit a monthly record of 585,000 tons.
In the final quarter of 2025, HRC sales reached 1.6 million tons, a 30% increase from the previous quarter and 2.5 times higher than the same period in 2024. This significant growth was driven by the additional capacity from the HRC2 production line at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex, operational since late September 2025. Additionally, domestic demand from downstream industries such as steel pipes, galvanized sheets, and mechanical engineering rose during the year-end months.
Specifically, Hoa Phat’s steel pipe sales reached 221,000 tons in the final quarter, an 8% increase from the same period in 2024. Galvanized sheet sales totaled 103,000 tons, slightly up year-on-year.
For the full year 2025, Hoa Phat Group produced 11 million tons of crude steel, a 26% increase from 2024. Sales of HRC, construction steel, high-quality steel coils, and billet reached a historic 10.6 million tons, up 31% year-on-year.
Construction steel and high-quality steel sales totaled 4.8 million tons, an 8% increase from the previous year. Hoa Phat maintains its leading market share in Vietnam’s construction steel sector at approximately 36%.
In the HRC segment, Hoa Phat supplied 5 million tons to the market, a 73% increase from 2024. The company’s HRC products account for 60% of Vietnam’s total production and sales in this category, according to the Vietnam Steel Association’s December 2025 report.
Additionally, Hoa Phat recorded 423,000 tons of galvanized sheets, on par with the previous year. Steel pipe sales reached approximately 850,000 tons, solidifying its leading market share in Vietnam at 30.8%. Prestressed concrete steel and wire rod sales increased by 29% to 174,000 tons, with exports contributing over 40%.
Hoa Phat Group is now Southeast Asia’s largest steel producer, with a capacity of 16 million tons by late 2026. Sixty percent of its production comprises high-tech steel products, serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, household appliances, steel structures, and energy. Currently, Hoa Phat is the only Vietnamese company capable of producing hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel.
Hoa Phat is aggressively developing the Rail and Special Steel Production Plant in Dung Quat. The plant is expected to begin producing rail steel in 2027, supporting Vietnam’s key railway projects and international exports.
