According to the approved master plan, the current Phan Dinh Phung Sports Arena site will be redeveloped into the Phan Dinh Phung Sports Center project—a modern, large-scale sports complex in Ho Chi Minh City. While awaiting the decision from the HCMC People’s Committee, Phat Dat has proactively chosen to enhance the landscape and open the space for community use.
The Phan Dinh Phung Sports Arena site boasts four street frontages along Vo Van Tan, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, and Pasteur Streets in Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

As communicated to relevant authorities, Phat Dat plans to conduct a thorough cleanup and beautification of the entire site, including upgrading the surrounding sidewalks along Vo Van Tan, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, and Pasteur Streets. The goal is to create a clean, open space that caters to public needs for physical activities, leisure walks, recreation, and community gatherings during the Tet holiday and beyond.

Notably, this transformation avoids a “closed construction site” approach, instead embracing an open, welcoming, and accessible space. Residents can utilize the area as a central city resting spot, ideal for sports, spring festivities, sightseeing, and photography within the refreshed environment.
Revitalizing the site into a community hub not only sustains its vitality but also meets the essential needs of Ho Chi Minh City residents.
