The Kia EV2 has officially debuted at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show (Belgium). This fully electric compact utility vehicle (CUV) slots below larger models like the EV3 and EV5 in Kia’s lineup.

Designed with practicality in mind, the EV2 offers a compact footprint ideal for daily use while providing ample space for families or versatile cargo needs. With an overall length slightly over 4 meters—marginally larger than the VinFast VF 5 available in Vietnam—its robust design features upright headlights, prominent wheel arches, and a sturdy stance. This blend of dynamism and functionality is further enhanced by 16- to 19-inch wheel options and a sporty GT-Line variant for those seeking a bolder aesthetic.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering approximately 145 horsepower, the EV2 offers front-wheel drive. Buyers can choose between two battery options: a 42.2kWh pack providing up to 317 km per charge or a 61kWh pack extending range to 448 km.

Inside, the EV2 impresses with a triple-screen layout—a digital instrument cluster, central infotainment display, and climate control screen (sizes unspecified). The cabin accommodates four or five passengers, with a sliding and folding rear bench optimizing cargo space to a standard 403 liters.

Industry experts estimate the Kia EV2’s starting price at around €30,000 (approximately 920 million VND).
