On January 9th, the People’s Committee of Khương Đình Ward (Hanoi) issued a notice, requesting residents to relocate and hand over the land area within the site clearance scope of the Belt Road 2.5 project, from Nguyễn Trãi (National Highway 6) to Đầm Hồng, before January 26th.

After this date, if the concerned organizations and individuals fail to relocate and hand over the land, the Ward People’s Committee will proceed with forced clearance as per regulations.

The Belt Road 2.5 project from Nguyễn Trãi to Đầm Hồng requires the reclamation of over 60,000 m² of land.

According to the Khương Đình Ward People’s Committee, the Belt Road 2.5 project from Nguyễn Trãi to Đầm Hồng spans 1,520 meters with a road width of 40 meters and a total investment of 2,433 billion VND. The project involves the reclamation of 60,902.1 m² of land, affecting 703 organizations and individuals in the area.

Upon completion, Belt Road 2.5 will serve as a crucial transportation axis, helping to divert traffic, reduce congestion on existing overburdened roads, and drive socio-economic development in the region.

Previously, on the afternoon of January 7th, the Khương Đình Ward People’s Committee organized a communication and advocacy session for households and individuals whose land is subject to reclamation for the Belt Road 2.5 project from Nguyễn Trãi to Đầm Hồng. Mr. Nguyễn Sỹ Đoàn, Chairman of the Khương Đình Ward People’s Committee, directly engaged with and advocated for households and individuals who have received compensation and support as per regulations.

Prompt handover of the land not only demonstrates the responsibility and consensus of the people but also ensures the project’s construction schedule, avoids additional costs, and prevents project delays.

According to the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Belt Road 2.5 project starts from the new urban area of Ciputra and ends at the intersection with Belt Road 3 (near Thanh Trì Bridge), with a total length of approximately 19.64 km and a width ranging from 40 to 50 meters, divided into 13 segments. Of these, 5 segments spanning 11.28 km are already in use, 5 segments are under construction, and 3 segments are yet to be studied for investment.

Recently, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued an Urgent Construction Order for the Belt Road 2.5 project segments: New Urban Area of Dịch Vọng – Dương Đình Nghệ; Vũ Phạm Hàm – Trần Duy Hưng; Ngụy Như Kon Tum – Nguyễn Trãi, with a total investment of 8,400 billion VND.
