In the overnight trading session ending on January 10th (Vietnam time), coffee prices saw a decline. Robusta coffee futures on the London exchange dropped by 25-41 USD/ton, while Arabica coffee futures on the New York exchange fell by 270-320 USD/ton.
Specifically, for the March 2026 contract, Robusta prices decreased by 25 USD/ton to 3,903 USD/ton, and Arabica prices plummeted by 320 USD/ton, falling below the 8,000 USD/ton mark to 7,880 USD/ton.
Robusta prices have now declined for three consecutive sessions, with a total weekly loss of 51 USD/ton compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, after several volatile sessions, Arabica prices have returned to their starting point from the previous week.

Today’s coffee prices in the domestic market are expected to see a slight adjustment from the average of 97,900 VND/kg before the London session began yesterday.
Vietnam is in the final stages of its coffee harvest, which is expected to conclude in January. Favorable weather conditions have facilitated a smooth harvest, resulting in high-quality coffee beans due to optimal ripeness and sun-drying.
