
In 2025, Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company (HNX: CDN) witnessed significant growth across all operational metrics. Cargo throughput increased by 10.44%, while container volume rose by 10.55% compared to 2024. Notably, revenue surged by 12%, and profits exceeded a 20% increase. On November 5, 2025, the port also implemented a 15-20% service fee hike.
All divisions within Da Nang Port not only met but surpassed their profit targets, sustaining robust growth momentum.
Market Expansion and Launch of Hoa Vang Logistics Center
During 2025, the port integrated AI and IoT technologies into its operations, including the eMAP digital map, automated container recognition cameras, an automated crane positioning system for 14 ERTG cranes, and the ePORT electronic gate system.
Additionally, the port expanded its market reach to Laos and Cambodia and secured a new container shipping route with COSCO. The Hoa Vang Logistics Center project has also commenced partial operations.
Targeting 518 Billion VND Profit in 2026, Aiming for 6 Lien Chieu Port Berths
For 2026, Da Nang Port aims to achieve a cargo volume of 16,770,000 tons (up 9%), revenue of 1,860 billion VND (up 12%), and a profit of 518 billion VND (up 15%).
According to Mr. Tran Le Tuan, Secretary of the Da Nang Port Party Committee, long-term plans include developing 6 berths at Lien Chieu Port, a 24-hectare inland port in Hoa Nhon, and an inland port in Dung Quat. The goal is to transition from a traditional port to a smart and eco-friendly port ecosystem.
