According to the Bac Ninh Province’s Electronic Information Portal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Pham Van Thinh, has signed Decision No. 583/QD-UBND, approving the investment policy and assigning the investor to implement the Social Housing Project in the Da Mai – Song Mai 2 Urban Area, Da Mai Ward, Bac Ninh Province.
The Social Housing Project in the Da Mai – Song Mai 2 Urban Area, Da Mai Ward, Bac Ninh Province, is developed by Danko Group Joint Stock Company. The project spans approximately 3.06 hectares and is expected to address the housing needs of beneficiaries under the social housing policy.
The project is constructed on plots designated as OXH.01 and OXH.02, as per the detailed planning approved by the Provincial People’s Committee. It includes synchronized investments in high-rise social housing apartments, internal transportation systems, external technical infrastructure, roads, and green spaces, creating a complete, modern, and eco-friendly residential area.
The design features 4 apartment buildings, each with 15 above-ground floors and 1 basement level, covering a total construction area of approximately 12,235.6 m². Plots OXH.01 and OXH.02 will house buildings XH1, XH2, XH3, and XH4, respectively. The project will provide approximately 1,395 apartments, accommodating around 1,800 residents.
The buildings are functionally designed: the basement serves as parking; the first floor is allocated for community activities, public facilities, and commercial services; the second and part of the third floors are for business and services; and floors 4 to 15 are residential apartments, ensuring privacy and comfort for residents.

The project not only significantly enhances Bac Ninh Province’s social housing stock but also enhances the urban landscape, progressively improving the infrastructure of the Da Mai – Song Mai 2 area.
More importantly, the project holds deep social significance, offering sustainable housing opportunities for thousands of low-income individuals, workers, and policy beneficiaries, thereby positively contributing to local socio-economic development.
According to the Bac Ninh Department of Construction, under the scheme “Investment in Building at Least 1 Million Social Housing Units for Low-Income Earners and Industrial Zone Workers for the 2021-2030 Period,” in 2026, the Prime Minister assigned Bac Ninh Province to construct 17,873 social housing units. To accelerate social housing development, the Provincial People’s Committee has registered with the Ministry of Construction to develop 20,000 units in 2026. By 2030, the province aims to complete 135,002 social housing units.
The province is currently implementing 96 social housing projects. Additionally, Bac Ninh is reviewing and supplementing social housing planning, prioritizing clean land allocation in advantageous locations near industrial zones and urban areas, ensuring connectivity with transportation, healthcare, and education infrastructure to facilitate long-term residence for workers and low-income earners.
