According to VinFast, the company delivered a record-breaking 27,649 vehicles in December 2025, the highest monthly figure ever achieved by an automotive brand in Vietnam.
This capped off an extraordinary year, with VinFast selling a total of 175,099 vehicles in 2025, an unprecedented milestone in the Vietnamese market. December also marked the 15th consecutive month that VinFast topped the national sales charts.
VinFast’s 2025 performance shattered all previous records for vehicle sales by a single brand in Vietnam, nearly doubling the previous record held by foreign automakers. This achievement positions Vietnam as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for electric vehicles.
VinFast’s dominance spans all segments, from compact models like the VF 3 (44,585 units), VF 5 (43,913 units), and VF 6 (23,291 units), to premium SUVs such as the VF 7 (9,653 units), VF 8, VF 9, and the ultra-luxury Lac Hong series.
The brand’s service-oriented models, including the Limo Green (27,127 units) and Herio Green (12,568 units), also significantly contributed to VinFast’s overall success.
Notably, the Limo Green, launched in August 2025, quickly became the best-selling 7-seater MPV, with 10,981 units delivered in December alone, solidifying its position as a market favorite.
Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Automotive Sales at VinFast, commented: “With exceptional growth across all vehicle lines, VinFast achieved remarkable results in Vietnam in 2025, doubling our sales compared to 2024. I believe that with growing public trust and support, Vietnam will soon lead the region and the world in the transition to electric vehicles.”
VinFast also leads the market in charging infrastructure and service centers, with 400 service centers and over 150,000 charging stations across 34 provinces.
