At the event, FPT Corporation announced the establishment of FPT Israel with the aim of expanding its presence in one of the world’s leading high-tech and innovation hubs, particularly in core technology fields, aligning with Vietnam’s and FPT’s strategic technology development goals.
By establishing FPT Israel, FPT Corporation aims to foster collaborative development, technology exchange, and the establishment of a research and development (R&D) center to keep pace with global technology trends, focusing on national strategic technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and semiconductor chips.
This initiative is a concrete step reaffirming FPT Corporation’s commitment to supporting Vietnam in realizing the goals of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, enhancing the country’s scientific and technological capabilities, and elevating Vietnamese enterprises’ global standing. It leverages the world’s leading innovation ecosystem to co-create “Make in Vietnam” products for both domestic and international markets.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, reflected on the historical ties between Vietnam and Israel, stating: “Vietnam and Israel share profound historical similarities in their development, driven by a strong desire to advance and a firm belief that education and technology are key to a nation’s rise. President Ho Chi Minh emphasized that Vietnam must stand shoulder to shoulder with the five continents through education and knowledge.
Today, this spirit is realized through a science and technology-driven development strategy, as Vietnam has issued significant policies, notably Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, and Decision 1131/QĐ-TTg focusing on developing and mastering strategic technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, and semiconductor chips. Therefore, establishing FPT Israel in the startup nation allows us to learn from its innovative spirit, access advanced education, and expand cooperation to master core technologies.”
Mr. Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the Information Technology Department, Ministry of Science and Technology, shared: “The ‘Make in Vietnam’ initiative for 2026-2030 emphasizes designing and manufacturing in Vietnam to lead. ‘Leading’ does not mean competing to be the first at all costs but to lead in areas where Vietnam has advantages, practical needs, and the potential to create sustainable value.
FPT is one of Vietnam’s pioneering companies in entering foreign markets, and FPT Israel marks the next step, demonstrating its determination to reach technological ‘peaks.'”
His Excellency Yaron Mayer, Ambassador of Israel to Vietnam
His Excellency Yaron Mayer, Ambassador of Israel to Vietnam, emphasized: “This event showcases the strong entrepreneurial spirit and global aspirations of Vietnamese businesses, sending a clear message that Israel is open and welcomes partners from Vietnam who share a commitment to innovation, technology, and long-term value creation.”
During the event, FPT introduced advanced Israeli technology partners, aiming to expand its high-tech solution ecosystem in key areas such as education (Enabley), high-tech agriculture (CropX), cybersecurity (Cyabra and CyberproAI), quantum encryption (BATM Advanced Communications Ltd), quantum computing (Classiq), semiconductors (AsicSValue), and business expansion (NAOR Group).
