On January 15th, the Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company jointly launched the groundbreaking ceremony for the An Phu Social Housing Project in Quang Phu Ward, Da Nang City.

With a total investment of nearly VND 600 billion and a land area of 20,000 square meters, the project is developed by Quang Nam Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company. The Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone in Da Nang City has approved the investment policy for this project.
The project comprises four blocks (A1, A2, B1, B2) with nine floors, expected to provide 700 apartments. The ground floor is designated for commercial and service spaces, building management offices, and apartments. Floors 2 to 9 will house residential units.
The project includes the construction of complete and synchronized technical infrastructure, such as transportation, electricity, public lighting, communication, water supply, drainage, environmental sanitation facilities, waste collection areas, and wastewater treatment systems.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented from Q3/2025 to Q4/2028. Phase 1 (from Q3/2025 to Q2/2027) involves completing investment procedures, constructing blocks A1 and A2, and technical infrastructure, followed by completion and operation. Phase 2 (from Q3/2027 to Q4/2028) includes constructing blocks B1 and B2, completion, and operation.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Nam Hung, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee, emphasized the significance of this event, demonstrating the city’s political commitment to social welfare, particularly in addressing housing needs for workers, low-income individuals, and policy beneficiary families. This project also serves as a practical contribution to the 14th National Party Congress.
The city’s leadership urged the developer to complete the project on schedule and ensure the committed quality.
“Da Nang City affirms that social housing does not equate to low quality. On the contrary, social housing projects must be meticulously invested in, ensuring synchronized technical and social infrastructure, suitable design, convenience, safety, and long-term living requirements for residents,” Mr. Hung stressed.
