On January 17th, Mr. Củ Phát Nghiệp, Chairman of the Pouyuen Company Union, announced that the company plans to allocate approximately 1 trillion VND for Lunar New Year bonuses in 2026 for its employees.
The bonus amount is calculated based on years of service. Employees with 1 to 2 years of service will receive a bonus equivalent to 1 month’s salary. Those with 2 to 3 years will receive 1.2 months, and those with 3 to 5 years will receive 1.4 months.

Employees with 5 to 7 years of service will receive 1.6 months, while those with 7 to 10 years will receive 1.9 months. Employees with 10 to 12 years will receive 2.1 months, and those with 12 or more years will receive 2.2 months.
Employees with less than a year of service will receive a prorated bonus based on their actual months of work.
The salary used to calculate the bonus is the December 2025 contractual salary, which includes base pay, allowances for hazardous work, job allowances, professional allowances, and special allowances (if applicable).
According to the announcement, employees must have a signed labor contract and be actively employed by the company until December 31st, 2025, to be eligible for the bonus.
Employees whose contracts end on December 31st, 2025, but who are absent without leave on that final working day will not receive the bonus.
Pouyuen allocates nearly 1 trillion VND for Tet bonuses for its 41,000 employees.

Pouyuen, a leading footwear exporter, is the largest employer in Ho Chi Minh City with over 40,800 workers. The average monthly income for its employees is 12.5 million VND.
During the Lunar New Year, each employee will also receive a practical Tet gift. Additionally, the company is planning a year-end meal and organizing transportation for approximately 2,500 employees to return home for Tet (with the company subsidizing 50% of the fare and the union contributing 20%).
In the Year of the Snake (2025), Pouyuen Vietnam allocated approximately 750 billion VND for Tet bonuses for its 39,500 employees.
