On January 15th, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province launched two social housing projects in Phuoc An commune, a key industrial and logistics hub near Phuoc An Seaport and Long Thanh International Airport.
These projects are part of a series of groundbreaking ceremonies celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 96th anniversary of the Party’s establishment.
The first project, spanning 2.1 hectares, is led by Electrical and Water Equipment Installation and Construction JSC in partnership with Hanoi Construction Corporation JSC and Wealthcons Construction Investment JSC. It features 12-story apartment buildings offering over 1,500 units for approximately 2,600 residents, with a total investment of over VND 1 trillion.
The second project, covering 3.71 hectares, is spearheaded by Hanoi Construction Corporation JSC in collaboration with Electrical and Water Equipment Installation and Construction JSC and other partners. It includes nearly 1,500 units accommodating up to 6,000 residents, with a total investment exceeding VND 1.3 trillion.
The second project is designed as a fully integrated community, featuring technical infrastructure, social amenities, a kindergarten, green spaces, playgrounds, and parking facilities, ensuring long-term livability for workers.
Both projects are slated for completion by Q1/2028, with units starting at approximately VND 450 million, tailored to the budgets of workers in nearby industrial zones.
Developers aim to position these projects as model social housing developments in Dong Nai Province, emphasizing high-quality construction, infrastructure, and amenities.
Upon completion, these initiatives will significantly contribute to the province’s goal of 65,000 social housing units by 2025–2030, aligning with the Prime Minister’s targets and Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s vision. They will also support the government’s plan to build 1 million social housing units by 2030.
