Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 Series in Vietnam, marking the latest generation of its mid-range smartphone lineup, which has consistently dominated sales in this segment for years.

This launch focuses on two key aspects: durability and high-resolution photography. Xiaomi has also announced Chi Pu as the brand ambassador for this series in Vietnam.

According to Xiaomi Vietnam, the Redmi Note 15 Series is designed to meet the growing demand for long-lasting and reliable smartphones, as users increasingly prioritize durability alongside performance and features.

The series is built with a comprehensive reinforcement approach, from its internal structure to its external materials. Premium versions offer multiple water and dust resistance certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, typically found in higher-end models.

The manufacturer claims that some models have passed a 24-hour submersion test at a depth of 2 meters and received TÜV SÜD certification for water resistance. Additionally, the devices have earned the SGS Premium Performance 5-star rating, withstanding drops from up to 2.5 meters under standard test conditions.

The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the frame and back are reinforced to enhance impact absorption.

Another standout feature is the battery and charging system. The series boasts a maximum battery capacity of 6,580mAh. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G supports 100W fast charging with Xiaomi HyperCharge technology.

Xiaomi states that the battery has received TÜV SÜD certification for durability, retaining at least 80% capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, equivalent to approximately six years of use. It also supports reverse charging at up to 22.5W, allowing users to share power with other devices.

The Redmi Note 15 Series features a 200MP primary camera with the latest ISOCELL HPE sensor. This camera system is optimized for high-detail photography and offers 2x and 4x zoom capabilities, rivaling optical zoom quality.

In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 15 Series is powered by the latest Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 (4nm process), while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G uses the Dimensity 7400-Ultra. Both models support up to 12GB of RAM and ample storage.

The display is another highlight. Standard versions feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The premium models offer a 6.83-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.

The Redmi Note 15 Series will be available in Vietnam starting January 16, 2026, with prices ranging from 5.99 million VND for the standard version to 12.99 million VND for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi is offering various launch promotions, including gifts, installment plans, and extended warranties.

Alongside the Redmi Note 15 Series, Xiaomi has introduced several AIoT products in Vietnam, including the Redmi Buds 8 Lite, Mijia Smart Audio Glasses, and Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max. These products further emphasize Xiaomi’s commitment to building a smartphone-centric ecosystem in Vietnam.
