Luong Bang Quang, a once-prominent singer, rose to fame with distinctive hits like “Chính em” and “Chờ đợi quá khứ.”

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance recently announced violations by Luong Bang Quang LLC, owned by the singer himself.

Born in 1982, Luong Bang Quang, known for his involvement with Ngân 98, established the company in 2016. Initially, he held 50% of the shares, while Vo Do Vy Binh and Lam Thi Mai each owned 25%. The company’s charter capital increased from VND 1.9 billion to VND 10.2 billion in early 2025.

The HCMC Tax Department proposed revoking the company’s business registration certificate in late 2025. The Business Registration Office later confirmed the company falls under Article 212, Clause 1(d) of the 2020 Enterprise Law, which pertains to cases determined by a court or competent authority.

This clause addresses “Other cases as decided by the Court or proposed by a competent state agency as prescribed by law.”

Born in 1982 in Ho Chi Minh City, Luong Bang Quang is a renowned singer-songwriter.

Throughout his career, he composed nearly 100 songs. At his peak, he was celebrated as a versatile artist, excelling in songwriting, singing, and music production. He received numerous accolades, including the Favorite Song award at Bai Hat Viet and three Favorite Songwriter titles at Lan Song Xanh.

In October 2025, the HCMC Police Investigation Agency charged Luong Bang Quang and Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan with “Bribery,” and Le Sy Cuong with “Bribery Mediation.” Both Luong Bang Quang and Le Sy Cuong were detained pending trial.

Beyond his career, Luong Bang Quang’s relationship with Ngân 98, which began in 2017, sparked controversy. Despite public scrutiny, the couple remained together, often sharing intimate moments on social media and collaborating on stage. After years of speculation and disputes, they officially married in 2024.
