Thượng Đình Footwear JSC (stock code: GTD, UPCoM) has announced a series of senior leadership changes.

The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Nguyễn Thành Nhơn as CEO and Mr. Vũ Thái Dương as Deputy CEO in charge of finance.

Meanwhile, Mr. Đào Xuân Nghĩa was relieved of his position as Deputy CEO in charge of operations effective January 14, 2026. He will continue to serve as Deputy CEO until further notice.

The new CEO, Mr. Nguyễn Thành Nhơn (born 1978), currently holds several key positions within subsidiaries of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (Vinaconex, stock code: VCG).

Specifically, he serves as CEO of Vinaconex Trade Development JSC (VCTD), Independent Board Member of Construction Company No. 1 JSC (VC1), Deputy CEO of Vinaconex Investment LLC, and Deputy Director of Vinaconex Real Estate Company.

The new Deputy CEO, Mr. Vũ Thái Dương, also holds key positions in Vinaconex subsidiaries, including Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sa Pa Clean Water BOO Investment JSC, Member of the Supervisory Board of Bach Thien Loc JSC and Vinaconex Dung Quat JSC, and Supervisor at Vinaconex Invest LLC.

Following the leadership restructuring, the Board of Directors announced that February 4, 2026, will be the record date for shareholders to attend the 2026 Extraordinary General Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for March 5 at the company’s headquarters at 277 Nguyen Trai, Hanoi.

The agenda includes the dismissal and end of term for the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board (2021–2026) and the election of new members for the 2026–2031 term.

These significant leadership changes follow the arrival of a new controlling shareholder.

On January 8, 2026, Ms. Mai Huyền Trang became a major shareholder of Thượng Đình Footwear after acquiring 6,385,800 GTD shares, increasing her ownership from 0% to 68.66% and gaining control of the company.

The number of shares she purchased closely matches the amount sold by the Hanoi People’s Committee in December 2025.

According to the HNX auction results announced on December 16, 2025, 15 individual investors participated, with valid bids totaling over 39 million shares—six times the auctioned amount. The starting price was 20,500 VND per share, with the highest bid reaching 216,000 VND per share.

Two investors won the auction at an average price of 215,999 VND per share, generating nearly 1.38 trillion VND for the Hanoi People’s Committee.
