On January 30th, a representative from the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) stated that recent social media posts claiming a significant increase in alcohol-related fines for 2026 have been investigated and clarified.
Regarding this matter, the Traffic Police Department representative explained that certain online platforms have published content related to Government Decree 168/2024, which outlines administrative penalties for road traffic violations, license point deductions, and reinstatements.
