Previously, on January 27, the Economic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, in coordination with Bao Lam 3 Commune Police (Lam Dong Province), inspected a truck driven by Truong Thanh Tin (27 years old, residing in Dong Gia Nghia Ward, Lam Dong Province).
Authorities found over 1,000 packages of finished coffee in the truck’s cargo hold, totaling 528 kg. Driver Tin could not provide invoices or documents proving the product’s origin.
The police identified that the goods were linked to W.C. Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Bac Gia Nghia Ward, Lam Dong Province), with Mr. L.V.K. as the legal representative.
At the company’s headquarters, authorities discovered nearly 8,000 packages of various finished coffee products weighing over 4.1 tons, 3 tons of raw materials, and numerous machines and equipment used to produce the aforementioned coffee packages.
Mr. K. admitted that the company instructed employees to mix soybeans with coffee and flavorings to produce the finished coffee products, totaling over 7 tons, which were then sold at a low price on the market.
