According to the People’s Committee of Hue City, the city has recently approved the investment policy for the construction and infrastructure development of the VSIP Hue Industrial Park. The Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP) has been designated as the project’s investor.
The total investment capital for the project is approximately VND 3,075 billion, equivalent to USD 123 million. Of this, the investor’s equity contribution is around VND 462 billion, accounting for 15% of the total investment. The remaining VND 2,613 billion, or 85%, will be raised through external funding.
As per the plan, the project is expected to complete investment preparation procedures by Q3/2026. Land clearance, compensation, and handover will take place from Q1/2026 to Q3/2028.
Construction is slated to begin in Q4/2026, with full completion and operation expected by Q2/2031. The entire project, from land lease to operation, will not exceed five years.
In December 2025, the People’s Committee of Hue City approved the investment policy for the infrastructure development of La Son Industrial Park Zone 01 (VSIP Hue).
Spanning approximately 467 hectares (as per the land lease contract), the industrial park is part of the La Son Industrial Zone planning in Hung Loc and Loc An communes, Hue City.
Of the total VND 3,075 billion investment, VND 2,540 billion will be allocated for infrastructure development, while over VND 530 billion will cover compensation, support, and resettlement costs. The project’s operational lifespan is 50 years.
VSIP Hue Industrial Park aims to be a green, smart, and sustainable industrial zone, prioritizing modern infrastructure, digital governance, and comprehensive business support services.
The park is strategically positioned to attract high-value industries such as clean technology, electronics, advanced manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics, and high-tech sectors.
VSIP Hue Industrial Park is a key component of VSIP’s industrial network expansion strategy in Central Vietnam, positioning Hue as an emerging hub for industrial investment and production support services.
