The Kia K5 2025 in the US market witnessed changes in design and equipment. According to Car and Driver, K5 and Hyundai Sonata have many similarities but they provide different driving experiences. Using the brand’s new design language, this sedan model features LED daytime running lights combined with turn signal lights inspired by star maps.

The LED taillight cluster is horizontally designed across the rear of the car and has a shape inspired by star maps, similar to the LED daytime running lights. The rear bumper of the car has also been slightly improved by removing 2 faux air vents.

As for the interior, the D-segment sedan is equipped with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen center display. The premium version adds a new curved display on the dashboard, integrated with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen center display. In addition, the car also supports software updates via WiFi, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

In the US market, the Kia K5 2025 is divided into 3 versions: LXS, GT-Line, and GT. The LXS version, the lowest in the product line, is equipped with many new standard features such as front/rear parking assist sensors, adaptive cruise control, and front collision avoidance support.

The GT-Line version offers an additional Premium Package with a panoramic sunroof, interior LED lights, and a Bose 12-speaker sound system. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line GT version of the Kia K5 2025 is equipped with a Bose sound system, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, heated steering wheel, and power-folding side mirrors.

In terms of power, the Korean car model offers 2 engine options. The first is a new 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine, replacing the old 1.6L engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 191 horsepower and a peak torque of 245 Nm, along with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. Meanwhile, the full-time 4-wheel drive system is optional on the GT-Line version.

The top GT version continues to use the 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 290 horsepower and a peak torque of 421 Nm, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

In the US, the price of the Kia K5 2025 is estimated to range from $27,000 to $33,000 depending on the version and options.

In the Vietnamese market, the Kia K5 is officially distributed with 3 versions and prices ranging from 859 to 999 million VND.
