In today’s working session (March 6), the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province suggested that the provincial People’s Committee consider approving the land use rights auction plan in 2024.

The golden land plot, known as Nha Khach 71, located on Ha Huy Giap street, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, is expected to be auctioned off in late 2024.

The department also recommended that the provincial People’s Committee direct the local departments and sectors to provide information on construction planning, expected total investment of projects after winning the auction; and supplement the areas that are not included in the development plan for worker housing and social housing into the plan…

At the same time, the department suggested that the provincial People’s Committee work with the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group and the Dong Nai Rubber Corporation urgently complete the procedures for cutting and transferring rubber trees, and hand over the land for land use rights auction.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Vo Van Phi, said that the land use rights auction is an important task to implement mid-term public investment projects and promote socio-economic development. The leaders of Dong Nai province have requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to finalize the land use plan for 2024 and submit it to the provincial People’s Committee for approval.

This plan needs to consolidate the allocated land plots and the additional plots; specify the responsibilities of departments, sectors, and localities in relation to specific timelines; and estimate the time for organizing the auction.

Prior to this, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposed that the province auction 17 plots of land in 2024, with a total area of nearly 410 hectares and an estimated value of over 7.7 trillion VND. Among them, there are 6 plots of land from 2023 and 11 newly added plots of land.
